I first met Lane when my Emily tried out for the same junior high cheer team as Lane. I immediately fell in love with her! Anyone who has met her would know exactly why. When Lane first posted that she was expecting I couldn't wait to ask her if she would share that beautiful baby bump in front of my lens. I have little experience with maternity portraits, so I was so grateful when Lane said yes to my request, as well as the patience both her and Kolby gave me while I tried out this pose and that pose. CONGRATULATIONS to you both - you will be the most wonderful parents!

I had so much fun hanging out with this handsome young man. We ended the session with the rain pouring down on us and a happy reminder from Weston that he was headed out to Hawaii in the morning! Enjoy that tropical sunshine for all of us back here in the Pacific NW!  A few raindrops, wet ground and looming dark clouds didn't put a damper on this delightful girls fun! The rain held off just long enough for us to get through her session. Thanks for coming out and playing in the rain, Katie!  Do you suppose she's a Wildflower?......More of this little sweetheart on the blog soon!  Well.......the rain didn't keep this little sweetheart away from my lens. We made it through her session with just a few raindrops and a whole lot of smiles! Thank you Alana for sharing your beautiful daughter with me - pure happiness for my soul!  Okay......so the evening light was.....AMAZING! The setting.....BEAUTIFUL! The senior in front of my lens.....GORGEOUS! Taylor you rocked it tonight! Thank you for sharing that million dollar smile with me (Or 4k smile as your Momma says).....definitely worth every penny!  I love it when my Seniors BFF's tag along during their senior portrait session. Kylien and Hailey have been friends for most of their lifetime. I guarantee you that there is much silliness, secrets and laughs between these two beautiful young ladies!  Everyone loves a brown-eyed girl and WOW am I in love with this sneak peek. TWINS! Two sets of pretty blue eyes and two heads of golden blonde locks in front of me. Twice as much fun and twice as much gorgeousness! I can't wait to meet baby Kolton! I LOVE having this couple in front of my lens - thank you!  Grace's mom was my very best friend back in Junior High. I hadn't seen Patty for over 30 years - how is that even possible? So when she contacted me to do Grace's senior portraits I couldn't have been any more excited. I took a little drive out to the Harbor to chase that beautiful soft evening light with an absolutely STUNNING senior in front of my lens! LOVE this!  What a beautiful afternoon for portraits yesterday and I couldn't ask for better smiles! Kylien, you and Bruiser are ADORABLE! Had a great weekend out with this little sweetheart - can't wait to get to the rest of her session! If you have never visited hello, cupcake in Tacoma, put it on your bucket list - best cupcakes EVER! ….while I sorted, packed, moved, unpacked and sorted again. WOW, did that take more time and energy than I had expected, but I’m happy to announce that we are close to being situated in our new home. Taylor LOVES animals and volunteers with the Evergreen Golden Retriever Rescue program. Taylor is heading down the career path as a Veterinarian. Her giving heart doesn't stop there. She has also volunteered with an after school program called Peace Out in which they teach youth the importance of civic engagement and social responsibility. How amazing is that? Taylor has been swimming since she was 6 years old and has been a member of her high school swim and water polo teams. Water polo and animals……I have so many fun portrait ideas for you Taylor!
